Contributions of knowledge contain the identification and alignment of fields outside of technical component level securities, including fields within the people and processes countermeasures and how components can be combined to create a complete view of cybersecurity. An overall contribution to knowledge includes a justification and alignment of component level securities within the cybersecurity field of study and a legally defensible standard brought in through US Constitutional authority. Already existing legal, training, and logistical infrastructures can be leveraged to quickly address and overcome shortages provided professionals from adjoining career fields are properly engaged. Training engagements should involve incorporating adversarial training processes in already existing curricula. Adjoining training fields can include any field of study involving the in-depth study of people, processes, or technology. The skills include fields such as people skills associated with psychology, sociology, anthropology, leadership, management, and organizational development, or process skills associated with process improvement, business, and process alignment specialization. A review of the presented model needs to occur at regular intervals as the static nature of a model fails to address the timeliness or completeness of cybersecurity countermeasures. Further analysis of the Maconachy, Schou, and Ragsdale or MSR model combined with modern business practices demonstrated a needed adaptation as in the nearly 2 decades since the MSR model release. Organizations now obtain data through contractual obligations and data warehousing versus simply gathering data from end-users.
