"Primary teacher training has always been a relatively uncontroversial discipline for researchers as it has traditionally focused on different professional expectations, depending on the specific social and cultural perceptions of the primary teacher in each country. However, as a result of globalization in recent decades, societies have driven and demanded educational modalities in which foreign languages are used for communication from very early educational stages. As a result, educational authorities administer how bilingual education should work in the different geographical areas or countries. This book focuses on a review of the theoretical foundations and practical approaches to didactic processes undertaken by many tertiary education institutions around the world to train future teachers of bilingual education in primary schools. Today, most teacher trainers at the university level are experts in foreign language teaching who arelooking for ways to train their students to integrate the content and communicative use of the target language. This work includes chapters referring to this panorama in different countries, with the corresponding descriptions of the language policies that contextualize them. In this sense, the central chapters present good training practices to reflect on experiential formulae or more theoretical approaches that could also guide the process"--
