The following study explores the influence of female leaders displaying full range leadership and leader-member exchange theories on organizational productivity. The researcher contacted and met with participants to participate in the study. Seven participants took part in the study. Participants completed surveys and questionnaires on full range leadership and leader-member exchange. The researcher conducted all interviews with a semi-structure process with open-ended questions; however, the researcher did not ask store managers the same questions as the interviews changed direction. The researcher coded and analyzed participants' responses using the NVIVO software program. The researcher found 8 themes from the study, mainly from the NVivo analysis. Application of full range leadership and leader-member exchange helped participants enhance their leadership at some point in their careers. In addition, the researcher observed that retail leaders' use of full range leadership and leader-member exchange influences their employees' productivity, but affects their employees' overall performance differently. Such findings prompt more research on the phenomena of leadership theories, particularly the applications of full range leadership and leader-member exchange theories.
