Information technology (IT) division job outsourcing was a concern that had gained tremendous notoriety from the public and private sectors surrounding industries, administrations, media, and the academic world within the last five years. Due to opposing points of view regarding the global economic impact of job outsourcing in the IT industry, a quantitative correlational study conducted. The study looked at whether there was a relationship between job outsourcing and production. Outsourcing measured in activities and operations in the non-sturdy and strong U.S. information technology division, and output measured in output hourly and unit work costs in 2013 and 2014. The study also looked at whether there was a change in IT industry production in 2010 compared with 2013. The t-test evaluated the operational cost savings, and the multiple regression analysis tested the total cost savings within the information technology industry. The study's variables taken from U.S. established businesses that were presently involved in job outsourcing and those companies who participated in labor associated data with the U.S. Department of Labor and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The implications from this study, it readily understood that there was a healthy relationship between the activities and economic impact of the IT job sourcing. As the job sourcing was increasing, the availability of the workers from different geographical locations also increased due to which the competition and low wages workers availability were increasing, but as a result, the unemployment in the United States was also increasing which was affecting the economy of United States in the worst way.
