Zukünftige Technologie- und Produktentwicklungen werden mehr denn je an der Steigerung der Ressourceneffizienz unter Beachtung eines wirkungsvollen Klima- und Umweltschutzes gemessen. In Deutschland bieten interagierende Schlüsseltechnologien im multifunktionalen Strukturleichtbau herausragende Innovations- und Wachstumspotenziale. In diesem Buch werden ausgewählte Forschungsergebnisse für neue Technologiekombinationen, die im Rahmen des ersten Bundesexzellenzclusters im Bereich der Leichtbautechnologie erarbeitet wurden und sich durch besondere Nachhaltigkeit und Breitenwirkung auszeichnen, vorgestellt. Im Vordergrund stehen neue Methoden, Lösungsansätze und beispielgebende Pilotanwendungen für die nächste Generation von funktionsintegrierenden Leichtbaustrukturen. Die zugrundeliegenden Produktionsverfahren basieren Zuf Textil-, Kunststoff- und Metallverarbeitungsprozessen, die allesamt durch Großserientauglichkeit, Flexibilität und Reproduzierbarkeit gekennzeichnet sind. Der Inhalt Hybride Bauweisen und Technologien Halbzeug- und Preformtechnologien Metallintensive Hybridtechnologien Textil- und kunststoffbasierte Technologien Mikro- und Nanosystemintegration Oberflächen- und Grenzflächentechnologien Modellierung, integrative Simulation und Optimierung Der Herausgeber Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Prof. h. c. Dr. h. c. Prof. Lothar Kroll ist Direktor des Instituts für Strukturleichtbau und des An-Instituts Cetex für Textil- und Verarbeitungsmaschinen der TU Chemnitz. Als Inhaber der Professur für Strukturleichtbau und Kunststoffverarbeitung an der TU Chemnitz und Leiter des Fraunhofer Forschungszentrums STEX und des Projekt Centers ALighT (PL) am Fraunhofer-Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Umformtechnik (IWU) arbeitet er verstärkt in der Erforschung und Weiterentwicklung textilverstärkter Verbundbauteile und hybrider Leichtbausysteme sowie deren zugehörige In-line- und In-situ-Technologiekombinationen (sog.
