The book argues that public health risk communication is a process embedded within multiple dimensions of power and set out practical way forward for public health risk communication. Josephine Adekola is Lecturer in risk management within the department of Finance, Accountancy and Risk, at Glasgow Caledonia University, UK. She teaches at both postgraduate and undergraduate level in business continuity, crisis management and planning, risk analysis and modelling. Josephine is an experienced researcher and has research interest in areas such as risk communication, public policy making, community resilience, business continuity and risk analysis. She has published extensively in the areas of risk and resilience in highly recognised journals. Before joining GCU, Josephine worked at the National Centre for Resilience for Scotland and the University of Glasgow.
