Jan-Markus Schwindt hat in Heidelberg und Cambridge Physik und Mathematik studiert und in Theoretischer Physik in Heidelberg promoviert. Im Anschluss war er vier Jahre in Forschung und Lehre als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an den Unis Mainz und Heidelberg tätig mit Forschungsschwerpunkten in Kosmologie und Quantengravitation. .
