Das Laser-Remote-Trennen von Leichtbauwerkstoffen wie hochfesten Stählen oder kohlenstofffaserverstärkten Kunststoffen stellt eine wirtschaftliche Alternative zu etablierten Verfahren dar. Die Arbeit zeigt auf, wie durch die Charakterisierung von Prozessemissionen eine Aussage zum Prozessfortschritt getroffen und somit die Bearbeitungsgeschwindigkeit bzw. die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Verfahrens gesteigert werden kann. Der Inhalt Steigert die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Laser-Remote-Trennen Bietet Beispiele zur Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnung Verdeutlicht den technologischen und monetären Mehrwert zu konventionellen (spanenden) Trennverfahren Der Autor Max Oberlander studierte Maschinenbau an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen. Anschließend arbeitete er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Technischen Universität Hamburg TUHH und an der Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Additive Produktionstechnologien IAPT, wo er zuletzt als Gruppenleiter für den Fachbereich ‚Polymer AM‘ tätig war. Seit Ende 2018 ist er als Systemingenieur bei der BigRep GmbH tätig.
