Das Interesse ausländischer Bauherren und Investoren an den Inhalten der Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen, Teil A: Allgemeine Bestimmungen für die Vergabe von Bauleistungen (VOB/A) ist groß. In den meisten Ländern gibt es keine vergleichbare Verordnung, um Aufträge zu vergeben, solide Bauverträge abzuschließen und verlässliche bauvertragliche Abmachungen zu vereinbaren. The complete edition of the revised VOB 2019 came into force on 1 October 2019, replacing VOB 2016. This bilingual edition gives an insight to the foreign contractors and their clients into the Regulation on the Award of Contracts and facilitates the dialogue in the contracting process. Foreign owners and investors are very interested in the contents of the German Construction Contract Procedures, Part A: General provisions on the award of construction contracts (VOB/A). In most countries there are no comparable regulations in order to award a contract, complete solid construction contracts and to arrange reliable construction contract agreements.
