Dieses Buch behandelt die additive Produktion mit dem Laser-Pulver-Auftragschweißen (LPA), welche eine wirtschaftliche und insbesondere ressourcenschonende Alternative zu konventionellen Produktionstechnologien für die Luftfahrt darstellt. Die vorliegende Arbeit zeigt für dieses Verfahren eine neuartige Prozessstrategie auf, um komplexe Bauteilgeometrien mit definierter Maßhaltigkeit und den luftfahrtspezifischen Anforderungen entsprechend herzustellen. Hierfür wird eine erfahrungswissensunabhängige Prozessparameteridentifikation entwickelt, die mittels eines genetischen Algorithmus eine geeignete Prozessstrategie innerhalb der konkurrierenden Zielsetzungen identifiziert. Abschließend wird das konsolidierte Prozessmanagement in der industriellen Prozesskette an einem Luftfahrtbauteil demonstriert und die Ressourceneffizienz sowie das Kostenpotenzial der LPA-Prozesskette werden bewertet. Nach Abschluss seines Studiums im Jahr 2013 begann er seine berufliche Laufbahn bei der Laser Zentrum Nord GmbH in Hamburg und übernahm dort 2014 die Funktion als Fachgruppenleiter Fügetechnologien. Im Jahr 2017 wechselte Herr Möller zu der Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Additive Produktionstechnologien IAPT in Hamburg als Abteilungsleiter Fabriksysteme für die additive Fertigung. Seit Mitte 2019 ist er als Branchenmanager Automotive bei der TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik GmbH in Ditzingen tätig. 2020 promovierte er bei Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claus Emmelmann an der Technischen Universität Hamburg, Institut für Laser- und Anlagensystemtechnik (iLAS).
