Mechatronics—Trending Future Industries
[electronic resource] /edited by Bartosz Powałka, Arkadiusz Parus, Marcin Chodźko, Roman Szewczyk. - 1st ed. 2022. - X, 165 p. 138 illus., 114 illus. in color.online resource. - Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems,3772367-3389 ;. - Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems,1.
Adaptive control of the autonomous car -- Destruction of engine exhaust valves as the source of a vessel loosing steerage -- Application of the keyhole TIG process for high productivity welding of superduplex stainless steel as an example of an effective implementation of mechatronics in fabrication processes -- Modeling of thermal stresses in technological equipment of heat treatment furnaces -- Functional assessment of projection screen materials for thermal detection in virtual shooting trainers -- Modal Analysis of Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panel Using Finite Element Method -- Finite Element Modelling of Thin-Walled Box Beams Partially Filled with Polymer Concrete -- Uncertainty budget for static stiffness measurement according to ISO 230-1 -- Effect of thermal cycles on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the heat affected zone for the HCT600C Advanced High Strength Complex Phase Steel used for car body -- Diagnostics of the turbine set bearing with the use of experimental modal analysis -- Geometric model of ball-end micro milling -- Analysis of the possibility to compensate for selected tool setting errors in the lens grinding process -- The Treadmill Control System Based on the SteamVR Tracking System.
This book explains that the coming years undoubtedly bring new developments in mechatronics. These advances are stimulated by the growing demand for intelligent, autonomous solutions in various branches of industry and consumer products. The development of economically justified new mechatronic products is not possible without the ongoing progress in manufacturing technology, metrology, measurements systems, new materials and control techniques. Those are the key for reducing costs and enhancing functionality of new products. Therefore, the scope of the 5th International Conference Mechatronics spanned from advanced mechatronic systems to manufacturing processes. The new results of research in this areas are reported in this book. We strongly believe that the solutions and guidelines presented during the conference held in Szczecin (Poland) from 8th to 10th September 2021 are useful for both researchers and engineers solving problems associated with mechatronic products.
