The problem is there is a tremendous amount of data to manage for corporations, today and thus there is a need for solutions. The purpose of this study explored the premise, if a company or leader, not using Artificial Swarm Intelligence is a disadvantage or ASI is a valid tool. To help strategic decision-making and discovered using the Nominal Group Technique (NGT). 10 experts who study artificial intelligence or is a manager in the IT/IS field of discipline. A NGT study consist of uncovering, information, through inductive methods, rounds of collaboration that produce ideas and themes, that are voted on. The findings of this study are important as it added to the body of primary research as a recent qualitative study. The research questions surrounded understanding in what ways do current leaders manage a plethora of data, in what ways is there preparation for leaders to make sound decision with large amounts of data, how might the technology industry change if AI/ASI were to be used for collaboration, data management and group-adaptation. The use of AI/ASI is unknown as it is an infant technology. For practitioners use this tool wisely as ASI is still being discovered and developed. Experts of this field believe this tool is valid, to be mindful of “design intent” and the “high amount of upside” using ASI as a tool versus not as a company has promise.
