Open Banking allows customers to share their data securely with banks and Fintechs to access products and services. Literature on models and strategies for implementing collaboration between banks and Fintechs while improving customer adoption under Open Banking is limited as Open Banking is still in its infancy. This study helped to fill this limitation in research. It examined the relationship and influence of six core explanatory variables on customer intention to use Open Banking in Canada. This study used a quantitative approach and a self-administered survey to collect usable data from 222 participants. The analysis employed Pearson's correlations, multiple linear regression, and partial least squares structural equation modeling. The study found a significant relationship between usage intention and five independent variables: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, perceived risk, and initial trust; the bank-fintech strategy was insignificant. Importantly, these variables explained 68.4% of the variance in usage intention of Open Banking. Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence significantly influenced usage intention. The study also found that customers' digital banking experience did not moderate customer adoption. These results imply that performance expectancy is paramount; therefore, an Open Banking system should be easy to learn, understand, and use by all customers. Also, the Government, banks, and Fintechs should continue undertaking studies to understand bank-Fintech collaboration models and customers' intention to use Open Banking in Canada.

La litterature sur les modeles et les strategies de mise en oeuvre de la collaboration entre les banques et les Fintechs tout en ameliorant l'adoption par les clients dans le cadre d'un systeme bancaire ouvert est limitee, car l'Open Banking en est encore a ses balbutiements. Cette etude a permis de combler cette limite de la recherche. Il a examine la relation et l'influence de six variables explicatives fondamentales sur l'intention des clients d'utiliser un systeme bancaire ouvert au Canada. Cette etude a utilise une approche quantitative et une enquete auto-administree pour recueillir des donnees utilisables aupres de 222 participants. L'analyse a utilise les correlations de Pearson, la regression lineaire multiple et la modelisation des equations structurelles des moindres carres partiels. L'etude a revele une relation significative entre l'intention d'utilisation et cinq variables independantes : l'esperance de performance, l'esperance d'effort, l'influence sociale, le risque percu et la confiance initiale; La strategie banque-fintech etait insignifiante. Fait important, ces variables expliquent 68,4 % de la variance de l'intention d'utilisation du systeme bancaire ouvert. L'esperance de performance, l'esperance d'effort et l'influence sociale ont considerablement influence l'intention d'utilisation. L'etude a egalement revele que l'experience bancaire numerique des clients ne moderait pas l'adoption par les clients. Ces resultats impliquent que l'esperance de performance est primordiale; par consequent, un systeme bancaire ouvert devrait etre facile a apprendre, a comprendre et a utiliser par tous les clients. De plus, le gouvernement, les banques et les entreprises de technologie financiere devraient continuer d'entreprendre des etudes pour comprendre les modeles de collaboration entre les banques et les technologies financieres et l'intention des clients d'utiliser un systeme bancaire ouvert au Canada.
