This study explored the phenomenon of employee well-being through a qualitative investigation of the experiences of 16 employees in the Health and Wellness division of a Fortune 100 corporation. Using Moustakas's (1994) method of transcendental phenomenology, in-depth interviews were conducted to answer the following questions (a) How do employee well-being and employee wellbeing perceptions impact corporate social responsibility (CSR)? and (b) What effect does transformational leadership influence have on employee engagement and perception of CSR initiatives? This study expands the limited research on the impact employee holistic health (i.e., physical, mental/emotional, financial) and the perceptions of that health have on a successful corporate social responsibility implementation. This study focused on the explicit meaning of employee responses to in-depth, semi-structured open-ended questions about their lived experiences with CSR and the role leadership plays in its implementation. The study illuminated the factors that make up employee well-being (i.e., physical, mental, and financial health) to find a deeper meaning of how those factors are associated with the implementations of the factors of CSR (i.e., environmental, social, and economic) or the triple-bottom-line (i.e., people, profit, planet) performance. The NCU Library, which includes electronic search engines ProQuest, Roadrunner (EBSCO), and Google Scholar, was used in this research. In addition, this study used Rita and Truett Smith, Collin County Community College libraries.
