Amac: Gecmiste altyapi kategorilerinde lisansli basketbol oynayan bireylerin, basketbol yasamlarina profesyonel/amator duzeyde devam etmeleri ya da sonlandirmalarinda, mukemmeliyetcilik ve hedef yonelimi ve sosyodemografik degiskenlerin etkisini ve yasam doyum duzeylerini belirlemek.Gerec ve Yontem: Kuluplerde lisansli basketbol gecmisi olup, amator kuluplerde, profesyonel kuluplerde devam eden ve basketbolu birakan/yalnizca hobi olarak surduren 150 katilimciya, Cok Boyutlu Mukemmeliyetcilik Olcegi, Yasam Doyum Olcegi ile Sporda Gorev ve Ego Yonelimi Olcegi uygulanmistir. One-Way Anova ve Pearson Korelasyon analizleri uygulanmistir.Bulgular: Basketbol yasantisini surdurme bicimleri ile mukemmeliyetcilik, hedef yonelimi ve yasam doyum duzeyleri arasinda anlamli fark bulunamamisken, surdurme bicimlerinin mukemmeliyetcilik alt boyutlarindan bazilari ve hedef yonelimi turleri ile iliskili olduklari bulunmustur. Katilimcilarin ortalamanin uzerinde yasam doyumu ve mukemmeliyetcilige sahip olduklari ve ego ve gorev yoneliminin pozitif iliskili oldugu gorulmustur.Sonuclar: Basketbolu birakanlarda ego yoneliminin olumsuz mukemmeliyetcilik ile iliskili olmasi, altyapilarda gorev yonelimlerinin desteklenmesinin, sporu birakmayi engellemede onemli olabilecegi dusunulmektedir. Sporu surdurme ile iliskili degiskenlere yonelik boylamsal duzeyde farkli spor dallari ve kontrol gruplariyla yapilacak arastirmalarin, bulgulari daha anlamli kilacagi dusunulmektedir.

520 $a Objective: To determine the effect of goal orientation types, perfectionism and life satisfaction levels and sociodemographic variables on the individuals who played licensed basketball in the past, to continue their basketball life at a professional / amateur level or dropped basketball.Matherial and Method: The sample of the study consists of a licensed basketball history, a total of 150 participants, who continue at the amateur or professional level or dropped basketball / continue as a hobby. Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire, Multidimensional Perfectionism Questionnaire and Life Satisfaction Scale were used to collect data. One-Way Anova and Perason Correlation Analyses were used.Results: No significant differences between goal orientation types, perfectionism, life satisfaction levels and sport contiunation types of participants. It was found that the ways of sport continuation are related to some of subdimensions of both the perfectionism and goal orientation. Also participants were found to have above average life satisfaction and perfectionism. It was concluded that ego orientation and task orientation dimensions are in a positive relationship with each other.Conclusion: It is thought that the correlation of ego orientation with negative perfectionism dimensions in athletes who dropped basketball, supporting the task orientation of adolescent players may be one of the important factors that can prevent them from quitting sports. It is thought that longitudinal studies and the results to be obtained from researches with different branches and control groups will make the findings more meaningful.
