Bu calisma, sivil havacilik MRO endustrisinin problem alanlarini ve bu problemlerin cozumu icin arastirmacilarin kullandiklari data analytics yontemlerini, kapsamli bir literatur taramasi ile arastirmakta ve acik arastirma konularini tespit etmeyi hedeflemektedir. Ucak bakiminin tanimi, mevcut ucak bakim filozofisinin tarihsel gelisimi, ucak bakiminin farkli acilardan onemi ve MRO endustrisinin guncel problemleri ele alinmaktadir. Incelememiz, 2016-2021 yillarini kapsayan 6 yillik bir zaman diliminde yayinlanan havacilik MRO problemlerinde analitik yontemlerin kullanimi ile ilgili makaleleri kapsamaktadir. Literatur taramasi sonucunda, ilgili 209 makale tespit edilmis ve her biri incelemeye tabi tutulmustur. Calisma, sivil havaciliktaki MRO sorunlarini gruplandirmaya ve siniflandirmaya calismaktadir. Daha sonra ilgili sektorel problemlere ve bu problemlerin cozumu icin uygulanan metodolojilere gore mevcut literatur siniflandirilmistir. Ucak bakim literaturunu, 13 farkli problem alanina gore siniflandiriyoruz ve bunlari da kendi icerisinde, kullanilan data tipi, veri analitigi metodolojisi ve alt problem alanlarina gore tasnif ediyoruz. Bununla birlikte, bibliyometrik bir analiz calismasi yoluyla gerceklestirilen calisma sayilarinin ve kullanilan veri analitigi metotlarinin yillara gore dagilimini sunuyoruz. Bu calisma ucak bakim endustrisinin problemleri icin kullanilan veri analitigi metotlarina dair degerli bilgiler sunar. Ayrica, sektor icin onemli olmasina ragmen yeterince arastirma yapilmamis konulari saptayarak arastirmacilara rehberlik eder. Bu makalenin ozgunlugunu sektorun analitik metotlar ile cozum gelistirilen tum problem alanlarini tespit ve tasnif etmesi olusturmaktadir.

520 $a This study investigates the problem faced in the civil aviation Maintenance and Repair Operations (MRO) industry and the analytical methods used to address these problems. The study covers a comprehensive literature review and aims to identify open research questions. The definition of aircraft maintenance, the historical development of current aircraft maintenance philosophy, the importance of aircraft maintenance from different perspectives and current problems of the MRO industry are discussed. Our review covers the academic studies related to the use of analytical methods in aviation MRO problems published in a 6- year time span spanning 2016-2021. We identify and analyze 209 papers for the literature review. We then group MRO problems in civil aviation, and categorize the extant literature according to the related sectoral problems. We conduct a correspondence analysis to link the methodologies to MRO problems. Our study considers the analytical methods used in solving MRO problems under three broad categories identified in the literature. We classify the MRO literature according to 13 different problem areas according to the data type used, methodology, and sub-problem areas. Our bibliometric analysis shows an increasing trend in the number of studies using analytical methods to solve MRO problems. This study provides valuable insight into data analytics methods used to address the MRO problems in the aviation industry. In addition, it guides researchers by identifying issues that are important for the sector but have not been adequately researched.
