The ongoing RussiaUkraine conflict has had a substantial economic impact on the German energy market. It highlights that rethinking the national energy mix is necessary not only to achieve international and national climate goals but also to achieve a higher degree of independence from imports, especially Russian natural gas imports. Greentech has the potential to play a crucial role in achieving this. However, the pace of innovation depends on various factors, such as investments and the adaptation of policies. This study draws on management theory perspectives to discuss how Greentech innovation can potentially gain momentum considering the geopolitical crisis. Semistructured expert interviews were performed to identify the possible catalytic effects of the Ukraine war for Greentech. Furthermore, scenario planning was used to identify competitive advantages in the German energy sector for Green Technologies.The research found that the war has served as an indirect catalyst for Greentech innovation, as movements in external factors are apparent. These external factors, such as policy development and investment trends, are highly influenced by the war, which could give Greentech innovation more traction in the future.

O conflito em curso entre a Russia e a Ucrania teve um impacto economico substancial no mercado energetico alemao. Ele sublinha que repensar o cabaz energetico nacional e necessario nao so para alcancar os objectivos climaticos internacionais e nacionais, mas tambem para alcancar um maior grau de independencia das importacoes, especialmente das importacoes de gas natural russo. A Greentech tem o potencial para desempenhar um papel crucial para alcancar este objectivo. Contudo, o ritmo da inovacao depende de varios factores, tais como os investimentos e a adaptacao das politicas. Este estudo baseiase nas perspectivas da teoria de gestao para discutir como a inovacao da Greentech pode potencialmente ganhar impulso considerando a crise geopolitica. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com especialistas para identificar os possiveis efeitos cataliticos da guerra da Ucrania para a Greentech. Alem disso, o planeamento de cenarios foi utilizado para identificar vantagens competitivas no sector energetico alemao para as Tecnologias Verdes.A pesquisa descobriu que a guerra serviu como um catalisador indirecto para a inovacao Greentech, uma vez que os movimentos de factores externos sao aparentes. Estes factores externos, tais como o desenvolvimento de politicas e tendencias de investimento, sao altamente influenciados pela guerra, o que poderia dar a inovacao Greentech mais traccao no futuro.
