澳門因其複雜而特殊的歷史原因，使其節慶文化在糅和中西方宗教風俗、文化藝術精髓、民眾生活習慣，以及政治、經濟因素和歷史積澱下發育成長起來。論文選取了澳門具有中西方特色的宗教及現代娛樂節慶，以澳門文化現象、歷史發展的角度對澳門節慶的祭祀活動、巡遊文化、表演藝術、文化意義與價值作了論述並梳理了澳門節慶祭祀、巡遊的歷史源流及現況，考察了華洋交融的澳門節慶文化在澳門社會所扮演的角色及其內在的文化價值，以期可以更好地理解澳門節慶的祭祀、巡遊文化現象，瞭解現代澳門不同族群和文化融合的真實面貌。同時，論文將澳門節慶發展和港臺及廣東作比較分析，梳理出澳門發展「品牌節慶」的有利資源條件，提出有關澳門節慶活動在傳承與保護、未來展望、市場行銷推廣策略等方面的建議和措施。

520 $a Macau, due to its complicated and unique history, boasts a rich festival culture that is mixed with religious practices, cultures, arts and lifestyles from both China and the West. Moreover, it's also a culture that has been nurtured by the city's unique political, economic and historical backgrounds. By taking the example of Macau's local religious festivals of both Chinese and Western origins and its modern day holidays, the paper sheds light on the ritual activities, parades and performing arts at the city's major festivals, as well as the cultural significance and value of such activities. All this will be looked at from a perspective of cultural phenomenon and historical development. The paper also takes a look at the historical origins of the ritual activities and parades held at festivals in Macau, and discusses the impacts that the city's festival culture, which is infused with both Chinese and Western characteristics, has on its society and what cultural significance it contains in order to gain a better knowledge of Macau's ritual activities and parade culture. In doing so, the paper also reveals how people of different ethical and racial backgrounds and the various cultures in modern day Macau can blend together. At the sometime, the paper attempts to sort out the favor able resource conditions that Macau can exploit to develop its own [trademark festivals] by comparing its festival culture with those of Hongkong, Taiwan and Guangdong. Based on that, the paper proceeds to propose suggestions for the continuity and marketing strategies of Macau's festivals and presents a look at the future of the city's festival culture.
