In recent years there have been constantly changing innovation technology, economic inflation, and material costs considering the various headwinds that the Automotive Industry faced. To adapt to these rapid changes or under non-standard timing circumstances, Auto Parts Manufacturing focuses on technically advanced design-thinking and engineering competency but has limited the manufacturers' visibility of new product development and control of operations on a global level. Mass production firms focus on identifying new technology but more importantly, they need to develop a capability of resilience and high product quality to successfully deliver new technology and compete in the global marketplace.The first aim of this dissertation was to develop a quantitative model to capture the design concepts. The model suggests that Agile, Product Innovation, and Flexibility (APF) paradigms can promote product development to improve resilience capability, and quality. A survey was administered to the firm's employees to measure innovation levels and theoretical constructs that would comprise an effective resilience and quality framework. Structure Equation Modeling and Regression analysis will be used to compare the relationships between the factors and the achieved results APF level to determine the statistical significance of any relationships. The second aim was to understand what resources are available to assist in the development of program proposals and what is required to bring new technology into production to obtain increased consumer benefits and achieve the functionality of product performance. Additionally, the benefits of the conceptual model involve a structured approach to provide a higher level of system sustainability.Following this, the Qualitative Method of case study research will be used to examine specific processes of agile and innovation in an attempt to illustrate how and why these particular results were realized in practice. As the literature suggests, the positive relationship between PD, product quality, and product innovation is consistent. In addition, case study analysis will reveal the importance of more conditions required to successfully realize resilience and quality solutions.The findings of this dissertation provide a platform for firms that need a long-range view of trends that will influence the development of new product resilience under dynamics and uncertain conditions. Our results revealed that Product Innovation as a partial mediator of the positive direct relationship between Agile on Resilience and the mediated directed effect was significant with strong positive indirect effects. Additionally, flexibility had a significant effect on product innovation. We describe how the case study is detailed and overlapping resilience, agile, and innovation approaches that enable firms to deal with turbulent environments in product development projects.
