This thesis is centered on the study of birational geometry, which investigates the properties of algebraic varieties up to birational equivalence. It focuses on invariants with group-theoretic character that arise in birational geometry in presence of automorphisms. We explore new invariants built on the Burnside group formalism developed by Kontsevich, Kresch, and Tschinkel.
