視頻直播平臺的崛起不僅僅從科技與商業的角度帶來了數字顛覆的影響，更重要的是平臺已經滲入社會眾多公共領域，與國家，公共機構及其他協力廠商平臺相勾連，越來越凸顯其在社會生產與發展中的不可或缺性，形成了所謂的"平臺社會"。本研究由此出發，以中國視頻直播平臺中的抖音平臺為例，探討平臺化過程對視頻直播以及中國社會帶來何種轉型與重組，以及平臺生態系統之中的各個行動者之間的權力關係又將如何嬗變。本論文遵循"互聯網與社會"的傳播學研究傳統，以平臺化作為主要的理論參照，結合 STS 中 Walkthrough 與傳播政治經濟學的具體研究方法，從数据基礎設施，商業化，治理結構，平臺與國家/政府關係等路徑切入中國平臺社會的研究。本研究以平臺/平臺生態系統為中心，在細察抖音上的科技界面，文化內容，使用者交互情況，商業模式，治理結構的同時，結合了對平臺生態系統中創意者，受眾，演算法設計師，平臺從業人員，協力廠商商業機構從業人員的數十份訪談，對中國視頻直播平臺化帶來的產業轉型與各方權力關係的變化作了深入的研究。論文總體認為伴隨著抖音平臺化的無處不在和基礎設施轉向的啟動，平臺生態系統中使用者與互補者不可分割地糾纏在一起且都依靠於平臺體系的運轉。抖音通過数据迴圈，商業模式，治理計畫，內容修飾等多重手段汲取了包含平臺准入權，数据調配權，規則制定權，社會定義權等諸多基礎設施化的權力資源。抖音在讓平臺參與者深深依賴的同時，通過輸出著平臺自身的邏輯和價值準則，不斷加強自己中心化的位置，在改變了平臺生態生態系統中諸多參與者的行為，職責和運行方式的同時，也改變了中國社會的價值走向。本論文的貢獻主要有三：第一，研究重視視頻直播平臺的科技-經濟屬性，區別於網紅研究或文化生產研究，採取平臺化的研究方法，推進了對視頻直播這種新興媒介的理解；第二，論文通過研究抖音與國家/政府的權力關係變遷，試圖跳出刻板化的政宣，審查窠臼，尤為強調數字媒體平臺與國家在經濟以及全球化領域內的協作與碰撞；第三，論文紮根於"平臺社會在中國"，重新思考了視頻直播，平臺治理，創意者，多頻道網路(MCN)，平臺帝國主義等諸多平臺研究中的時興概念在中國語境中的演變，切實地以中國數字平臺為方法參與了全球平臺社會的討論。

520 $a The rise of video streaming platforms not only have brought digital disruptions from the technological and economic dimensions, but also have penetrated into many societal public sectors, connected with state, public institutions and various third parties, which increasingly highlights the indispensability in social production and development, formulating the so-called "Platform Society". Based on the case study of Tik Tok (Douyin), this research explores how platformization process will transform and reorganize video streaming and Chinese society, as well as how the power relationships between various actors in the platform ecosystem will evolve.Following the research legacy of "Internet and society", the dissertation in light of the platformization theory and combined with the specific research methods of walkthrough in STS and political economy of communication, and then steps into the research of China's platform society from the approaches of data infrastructure, commercialization, governance structure, the relationship between platform and state / government. This study scrutinizes the technological interface, cultural content, user interaction, business models and governance structure of Douyin in an optic of platform/platform ecosystem, and combines dozens of interviews with creators, audience, algorithm designer, platform practitioners, and third-party business practitioners in the platform ecosystem in order to launch an in-depth study on the industrial transformation and changing power relations brought by video streaming platforms in China. The dissertation finally argues that with the ubiquitous platformization and infrastructural turn of Douyin, users and complementors are inextricably entangled and dependent on the operation of platform system. By adopting strategies of data circulation, business models, governance plan and content moderation, Douyin has attained various infrastructural power resources including power of access control, resource allocation, rule making and social definition. As the stakeholders become increasingly dependent on the platform, Douyin has constantly strengthened its centralized position and thus transformed the behavior, roles and functions of various actors in the platform ecosystem as well as the social values in China by embedding its own logic and value norms.The dissertation has three main contributions: first, differentiating from researches on cultural production and Wanghong, the study focuses on technological-economic properties of video streaming platform and adopts the approach of platformization to prompt understandings of the emerging new media, video streaming; second, the study attempts to investigate state-media relationships by emphasizing the collaborations and collisions between Douyin and government in the field of economy and globalization , rather than struggled in the stereotype issues of propaganda and censorship; third, rooted in "Platform Society in China", the study also re-think the transformations of various trendy concepts of platform study in China's context, such as video streaming, platform governance, creator, MCN (multiple channel network), which actively engage in the global frontier discussion of platform society based on the method of China's digital platforms.
