This research discusses the critical role of sustainable renewable energy in urban planning. It highlights the importance of its implementation in addressing environmental problems and supporting the development of green cities. The study seeks to uncover the problem of ecological deterioration enhanced by urbanization at a high rate, including pollution, loss of biodiversity, and depletion of resources. It highlights the need to introduce renewables to the energy and green spaces to the built environment to solve these problems.The study examines the cases of four cities: Singapore, Stockholm, Lancaster, and London which demonstrate innovative approaches to green urban development. For instance, some of London's initiatives, which introduced the first "smart street", powered by energy-generating paving tiles, stand as a vivid example of the combination of innovative technology and sustainable city planning. This research provides many practical examples of how sustainability can be effectively achieved in urban areas.The research is intended to suggest the implementation of renewable energy planning for Myrtle Avenue, which includes the installation of photovoltaic panels on top of bus stop shelters, solar ground lights for directional guidance, and waste management solutions on streets. These solutions are focused on improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and promoting the sustainable use of the urban environment.Summarizing, the study emphasizes the crucial role of sustainable renewable energy planning in the creation of green cities. The integration of renewable energy sources and green strategies into green urban development will help cities to reduce the negative impacts on the environment, strengthen resilience and create a path to a more sustainable future.
