This thesis examines the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in the realm of art, exploring its capabilities as both a creative tool and a disruptive force. It situates AI within the historical context of technological impacts on art, analyzing how AI redefines artistic processes, challenges traditional practices, and raises ethical questions. Through an examination of AI's applications across various art forms, this study not only highlights the innovative potential of AI but also addresses the critical ethical implications it poses in art creation.Central to this thesis is the development of an ethical framework tailored for people integrating AI into their artistic processes. This framework provides guidance on maintaining artistic integrity while leveraging AI's capabilities for novel artistic expression. The thesis further discusses the broader cultural impacts of AI in art, particularly its potential to democratize artistic creation and its risks, such as the undermining of authenticity and originality.The contributions of this research are threefold: it delineates AI's role as a powerful catalyst in the creation of new art forms; it develops a comprehensive set of ethical guidelines for using AI in art; and it assesses AI's cultural impact, advocating for responsible engagement with AI technologies in the art community. The study calls for ongoing dialogue and adaptive ethical practices as AI technologies continue to evolve. This research aims to equip artists with the insights necessary to navigate the evolving intersection of AI and art responsibly.

520 $a Esta tesis examina el papel transformador de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en el ambito del arte, explorando sus capacidades tanto como herramienta creativa como fuerza disruptiva. Situa la IA dentro del contexto historico de los impactos tecnologicos en el arte, analizando como la IA redefine los procesos artisticos, desafia las practicas tradicionales y plantea cuestiones eticas. A traves de un examen de las aplicaciones de la IA en diversas formas de arte, este estudio no solo resalta el potencial innovador de la IA, sino que tambien aborda las implicaciones eticas criticas que plantea en la creacion artistica. Central en esta tesis es el desarrollo de un marco etico disenado para las personas que integran la IA en sus procesos artisticos. Este marco proporciona orientacion sobre como mantener la integridad artistica mientras se aprovechan las capacidades de la IA para una expresion artistica novedosa. La tesis ademas discute los impactos culturales mas amplios de la IA en el arte, particularmente su potencial para democratizar la creacion artistica y sus riesgos, como la disminucion de la autenticidad y la originalidad. Las contribuciones de esta investigacion son tres: delinea el papel de la IA como un poderoso catalizador en la creacion de nuevas formas de arte; desarrolla un conjunto integral de directrices eticas para el uso de la IA en el arte; y evalua el impacto cultural de la IA, abogando por un compromiso responsable con las tecnologias de IA en la comunidad artistica. El estudio llama a un dialogo continuo y a practicas eticas adaptativas a medida que las tecnologias de IA continuan evolucionando. Esta investigacion tiene como objetivo equipar a los artistas con los conocimientos necesarios para navegar responsablemente en la interseccion en evolucion de la IA y el arte.
