The work presented here is multidisciplinary, with contributors coming from geography, geology, marine geology, oceanography, fishery, agriculture, engineering, management, forestry and other allied disciplines. The papers contributed by experts from the respective fields discuss a wide range of subject matters dealing with some of the crucial aspects of marine and coastal resources, including importance of the Indian Ocean and blue economy in Indian's future development. This book will be useful for academics, professionals, researchers and students interested in marine and coastal resource management.
