Salvatore Pistoia Reda holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from Universita di Siena 1240. He was an associate doctoral student at Institut Jean Nicod, Fellow Visitor at the Linguistics Department of Harvard University and a visiting researcher at the Rutgers Center for Cognitive Science. In 2012, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. He is the author of a book (Semantica e pragmatica linguistica, 2014) and of a number of journal articles on semantics and pragmatics. He is currently DAAD-Fellow at the Zentrum fur Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft.
