Information Technology has been a driving force in organizations across the globe both with the development of new technology and how projects are managed. Understanding how organizations become better or continuously improved have been the subject of many researchers over the past three decades. Researchers have developed many methods of identifying the learning organization and what needs to be accomplished to become a learning organization. Unfortunately, the Information technology Project Management Office (IT PMO) have not been the subject of any of these studies. This study's purpose was to evaluate the key factors affecting IT PMOs becoming learning organizations. This study continued on the study performed by Preskill and Torres where the six dimensions of the learning organization, culture, leadership, communication, system and structure, teams, and evaluations, were used to evaluate the learning organization. Six hypotheses were created for this study to evaluate the IT PMO. The study's participants were taken from information technology professionals who worked as project managers or project professionals within the United States. There were 102 participants selected randomly through SurveyMonkey. Data was analyzed using the means one-sample T-Test and descriptive statistic. The T-Test showed that the level of readiness of all six dimensions of the IT PMO were above the test value for the study. The results showed that there was a statistical significant difference in the level of readiness in implementing learning organization in the IT PMO wishing to become a learning organization. Future studies could benefit from learning what leadership and management contributions are in the process of the organization continuous improvement.
