In California, the elderly population is rising twice as that of the rise in United States elderly population. The increasing senior population has mandated the need for more convenient and effective health care provision to elderly and Compassionate Geriatric Care seems to be an effective solution to the problem of rapidly growing senior population and increased demand for health care. According to Grand View Research, the home health market is rapidly growing at 7.8% compound annual growth rate and is expected to reach $355.3 billion by 2020. More than 1,000 (16% of Holtville's total population) elderly individuals aged 60 and above reside within a 10-mile radius of Holtville, where there is no other home health agency. Compassionate Geriatric Care is a non-profit organization that aims to provide affordable, accessible and quality health care to homebound geriatric patients, especially low-income and minority individuals of Holtville and nearby areas.
