Thesis (M.A.)--Illinois State University, 2017.
Includes bibliographical references
This thesis is a collection of short fictions that thematically and stylistically explore the power and influence of virtual environments. Taking materialist critiques of the linguistic turn as a starting point, this thesis attempts to recuperate a number of techniques inherent to postmodern fiction as a means of creating fiction that adequately engages with an internet saturated world.
