This research was an investigation of educational stakeholders' perceptions of cyberbullying. Action research was appropriate to explore the existing, shared concerns about and experiences of middle school-aged students regarding cyberbullying. The 13 interviewees in the educational stakeholder group included parents, teachers, and various members of the administration and direct response teams at a public middle school in Georgia. Open-ended interview queries elicited stakeholders' perceptions regarding the challenges and supports that impacted the methods to address cyberbullying in the middle school. The analysis of the stakeholders' diverse insights, during in-depth individual interviews, made it possible to formulate a concise yet definitive definition of cyberbullying that encompasses all of its changing forms and develop recommendations for changes in policy as well as intervention strategies within the selected middle school. These research findings will become useful for the continuation of professional discourse regarding cyberbullying intervention and prevention strategies. Finally, the action plan component of this study involved the development of recommendations for practice and recommendations for future study to address potential bullies and victims.
