Thesis (M.F.A.)--Northeastern University, 2018.
Includes bibliographical references
In recent years, humans have seen the advent of the information age. Computers have contributed to a great extent in bringing about the information revolution. The scale of data in today's world is higher than ever seen before. Along with it, humans have realised that their older methods of data collection, recording, processing and communication need to be updated. Much attention has been put to develop methods of data manipulation from mathematical techniques to nebulous deep learning techniques. This need to process and understand data has even led to innovation in computational hardware technology going from a few megahertz to multi-core gigahertz processors. This thesis is an attempt to bring attention to the loss of information that occurs in the attempt to understand data or extract information from it.
