Onlinewahlkämpfe zu den Landtagswahlen 2011 in Rheinland-Pfalz und Baden-Württemberg -- Medialisierung der politischen Onlinekommunikation. Forschungsüberblick zum Onlinewahlkampf politischer Parteien -- Empirische Analysen auf Produzenten-, Produkt- und Rezipientenebene.
Philipp Niemann bearbeitet mit Hilfe eines interdisziplinären Ansatzes aus Politik-, Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaft drei zentrale Themen der politischen Kommunikationsforschung: Die Medialisierung politischer Kommunikation, die Wahlkampfkommunikation politischer Parteien im Internet sowie das theoretisch-methodische Problem der Analyse politischer Onlinekommunikation. Untersuchungsgegenstand ist die Onlinekommunikation der zentralen politischen Parteien zu den Landtagswahlen in Rheinland-Pfalz und Baden-Württemberg im Frühjahr 2011. Im Unterschied zu etablierten Ansätzen steht dabei die Rezipientenebene im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung.
