Analyse der gegenkulturellen Positionierung der Akteure im Verhältnis zum japanischen Mainstream -- Diskussion neuer Partizipationsformen im japanischen Kontext -- Fallbeispiele zu alternativen Formen von Wirtschaft, Medienproduktion und Protestaktionen vor und nach Fukushima.
Eine wachsende Zahl junger Japaner kann und will den ehemals „idealen“ Lebensläufen der japanischen Mittelstandsgesellschaft nicht mehr folgen; die Analyse dieses gesellschaftlichen Wandels beschränkt sich zumeist auf dessen negative Implikationen. In diesem Kontext beleuchtet Julia Obinger eine junge Tokyoter Aktivistengruppe, die sich selbstbewusst in Opposition zu problemzentrierten Diagnosen stellt, indem sie alternative Lebensentwürfe und Teilhabeformen umsetzt. So hat sich das Netzwerk „Aufstand der Amateure“ (Shirōto no Ran) seit 2005 zur Speerspitze einer urbanen Bewegung entwickelt, deren Mitglieder auch durch ihre kreativen Protestaktionen seit Fukushima möglicherweise einen zivilgesellschaftlichen Wandel einleiten. Der Inhalt Analyse der gegenkulturellen Positionierung der Akteure im Verhältnis zum japanischen Mainstream Diskussion neuer Partizipationsformen im japanischen Kontext Fallbeispiele zu alternativen Formen von Wirtschaft, Medienproduktion und Protestaktionen vor und nach Fukushima Die Zielgruppen Dozierende und Studierende der Soziologie, Japanologie, Kultur- und Politikwissenschaften Journalisten, interessiert an Japans (Zivil-)gesellschaft; Praktiker in Interessengruppen und sozialen Bewegungen Die Autorin Dr. Julia Obinger studierte Japanologie in München und Fukuoka und ist derzeit Assistentin am Lehrstuhl für sozialwissenschaftliche Japanforschung an der Universität Zürich, wo sie 2013 promovierte.
