This edited volume addresses the foreign policy approaches demonstrated by the European Union (EU), Russia and Turkey towards their shared neighbourhood. These regions are also characterized by fast-changing dynamics of political and social change within a sphere of geostrategic competition. By addressing issues of mutual perceptions, security provision and political and economic interaction, this volume provides a valuable analysis of pan-regional dynamics and a conceptualization of competition and cooperation.
