Dieses Buch verdeutlicht, mit welchen innovativen Geschäftsmodellen die Mobilitätsbedürfnisse der Zukunft befriedigt werden könnten. Die Autoren stellen praxisnah und wissenschaftlich fundiert Ansätze, Instrumente und Konzepte im Kontext der Mobilität 4.0 vor. Neben einer Einführung für die Entstehung neuer Geschäftsmodelle im Bereich Mobilität befassen sich die Kapitel mit einem Flatrate-Car der Zukunft und verschiedenen App-Anwendungen zur Optimierung intermodaler Verkehrsketten. Zudem werden Aspekte und Lösungen vorgestellt, wie Mobilität für körperlich Bedürftige verbessert werden kann. Anhand von Fallbeispielen werden konkrete Mobilitätskonzepte erläutert. Die Herausgeber Prof. Dr. Harry Wagner ist Professor für Automotive & Mobility Management an der Technischen Hochschule Ingolstadt mit Forschungsschwerpunkt im Bereich der Mobilität der Zukunft. In seiner beruflichen Laufbahn war Herr Wagner als geschäftsführender Gesellschafter eines mittelständischen Ingenieurdienstleisters sowie mehrere Jahre im Management der AUDI AG tätig. Darüber hinaus war er knapp zehn Jahre für international renommierte Unternehmensberatungen mit Schwerpunkt Automobilindustrie in Deutschland, Japan und USA tätig. Neben seiner Professur ist Herr Wagner als Entrepreneur Teil der Geschäftsführung des Startup-Unternehmens FMS Future Solutions GmbH. Stefanie Kabel ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Technischen Hochschule Ingolstadt. Vor ihrer Einstellung erlangte sie den akademischen Grad Master of Arts an der TH Ingolstadt im Studiengang Automotive & Mobility Management. Seit 2017 ist sie als Doktorandin im Projekt SAFIR (safety for all Innovative Research Partnership on Global Vehicle and Road Safety Systems) für die Innovationsprozesse verantwortlich.
