中盤商於配銷通路（Distribution Channel）中所扮演的角色為將產品從上游製造商送達消費者的過程，過程中包含了在上游製造商與消費者兩者間進行議價交涉的協商，與產品的推廣銷售，以及三方之間的資訊流通。但因產業環境變遷，使中盤商的客源流失、成本增加，導致其經營效益不佳，於配銷通路的角色定位逐漸失勢。本研究透過失效模式與效應分析（Failure Mode and Effect Analysis，FMEA）來探討個案公司提升經營效益面臨之失效原因，藉由問卷調查方式蒐集資料，彙整出風險優先數值(RPN)並進行排序，依據失效模式擬定事先預防之決策供個案公司應用於改善經營效益。經本研究調查發現，個案公司於提升經營效益之失效模式風險優先數值（Risk Priority Number，RPN）最高的前五項依序為：個案公司的毛巾或浴巾會在下水後，產生色水的情形（RPN為130.68）、個案公司某些暢銷商品經常性缺貨的情形（RPN為111.155）、個案公司某些商品出現滯銷的情形（RPN為98.441）、個案公司的中下游客戶面臨市場萎縮的情形（RPN為83.952）、個案公司的毛巾或浴巾的重量不足，不符合商品標示+-5%的標準（RPN為79.3），由此可知商品品質對於個案公司改善經營效益影響最劇，應依據排序與預防問題發生之決策實施，降低失效模式可能發生的機會。.

520 3 $a The role of middlemen in the distribution channel is to facilitate the process of getting products from upstream manufacturers to consumers. This involves negotiating and bargaining between upstream manufacturers and consumers, promoting and selling products, and facilitating information flow among the three parties. However, due to changes in the industry environment, middlemen have faced challenges such as loss of customer base and increased costs, leading to poor operational efficiency and a gradual decline in their role in the distribution channel. This study employs Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to explore the reasons behind the challenges faced by a case company in improving its operational efficiency. Data is collected through a questionnaire survey, and the Risk Priority Number (RPN) is calculated and ranked. Based on the failure modes identified, decisions for proactive prevention are formulated for the case company to implement and improve operational efficiency. The investigation reveals that the top five failure modes with the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) for the case company in enhancing operational efficiency are: discoloration of towels or bath towels after use (RPN 130.68), frequent out-of-stock situations for certain popular products (RPN 111.155), stagnation of sales for certain products (RPN 98.441), market contraction affecting midstream and downstream customers of the case company (RPN 83.952), and insufficient weight of towels or bath towels not meeting the standard of ±5% as indicated on the product label (RPN 79.3). It is evident that product quality has the most significant impact on the case company's efforts to improve operational efficiency. Action plans should be implemented based on the ranking to reduce the likelihood of failure modes occurring..
