This thesis explores the challenges that hearing impaired parents face when caring for newborns who communicate primarily through sounds, and investigates existing solutions to this problem. Through first-hand interviews with hearing impaired parents and a review of relevant literature, this project proposes a solution that transforms the sounds of a baby into visuals and vibrations. The aim of this solution is to help hearing impaired parents perceive and understand their children's voices, provide guidance on child care, and strengthen the bond between parents and their newborn. By providing this additional source of information, this solution has the potential to reduce the stress that hearing impaired parents experience when caring for a newborn.
