This project aims to improve the aging experience and rebuild the social attributes of community churches. The design focuses on engaging younger generations in the space to promote organic interactions between different age groups with the goal of promoting better self-worth in youth and social recognition for older adults.Research has shown that engaging younger people in intergenerational activities can lead to positive outcomes for older adults, including increased self-esteem and a sense of purpose. Using the concept of parallel reality games, the design will create a natural and egalitarian dialogue between users that encourages interaction and participation.The design will be based on blocks, creating a pixelated form of space that will give the user the feeling of being in another world of play. The four key elements of the game - goals, challenges, interactions and rewards - will be incorporated into the space to attract and engage users, with the ultimate goal of re-establishing the social-centric attributes of the community church.The project will be carried out through a combination of research, testing and the use of appropriate materials and spatial attributes. The design will be tested through focus groups and user feedback to ensure that it is effective and meets the needs of the community.Overall, the project aims to promote intergenerational communication and engagement to improve the aging experience in the community now that the population is increasingly aging. By creating a fun, interactive space that can accommodate equal communication and adaptive use, the project aims to improve the social well-being of the community and create a model that can be replicated in other communities facing similar issues.
