Employing a range of historical and cultural materials, as well as an extensive number of case studies, the chapters offer an engaging overview of heritage and tourism developments across the Isles, especially in terms of recent policy and strategy initiatives, new facilities and infrastructure, as well as the different and evolving management systems currently in place. Interdisciplinary in scope, and drawing on the expertise of researchers from within both academia and industry, this volume will be of particular importance to those with interests in management and the humanities.
