The objective of my research was to examine teachers' attitudes, views and beliefs on inclusive education. Why do some teachers have more positive experiences teaching in a classroom where students with special needs are present? Why do some teachers have negative experiences? What would help shape those negative experiences into positive ones? What is working for teachers? How do these attitudes, views and beliefs affect students and the classroom learning environment? Data was collected through interviews, an online forum, and a survey. The results of the findings determined that the participants in the study had positive attitudes on inclusive education. General education teachers felt better equipped to meet the needs of special education students in their classrooms, when adequate training was provided and adequate planning time was provided with the special education teacher.
