This qualitative study aimed to identify organizational leaders' perceptions of Performance-Based Logistics strategies and benefits. The target population was organizational leaders with 12 months or more experience in contracting logistics or project management. The main research question was how leaders of organizations perceive Performance-Based Logistics and the potential benefits. The research questions asked about Performance-Based Logistics to organizational leaders. Data collected During a recorded Microsoft Teams, transcribed, and analyzed, identifying five themes. The first theme was related to Performance-Based Logistics procedures in contracting strategies. The second theme recognized the importance of budgeting strategies and allocating funds for purchases. The third theme discussed the importance of inventory hierarchy and its relation to the supply chain, storage, and security custody. The fourth theme is an organization's freedom to choose its performance and interaction. The fifth theme identified was ethical awareness highlighting the obligations of an organization to protect trade secrets and the privacy of organizational members. These critical themes identified what an organization must consider when adhering to and participating in Performance-Based Logistics policies. Two organizations interviewed are not participating in Performance-Based Logistics protocols because they need more staff or trust in the system with company secrets.
