This study investigates the effect of a female STEM professional mentoring program on perceptions among K-12 female participants. Led by STEM professionals, the program aims to enhance understanding of STEM careers. The findings reveal significant changes in the K-12 females' attitude and career aspirations towards STEM following their involvement in the mentoring program. The study contributes to the existing literature by accenting the potential benefits of female-led mentoring initiatives in K-12 education, emphasizing the importance of mentorship in influencing participant perceptions in STEM fields. Implications for practice and future research are discussed, highlighting the role of mentoring programs in encouraging inclusivity, diversity, and equity in STEM education.
