存現句是句法研究中的經典課題，有極高的理論研究價值。關於漢語存現句的句法結構和生成機制有非常多的爭議，其中中介動詞的句法性質是爭論的焦點。本文在生成語法框架下研究了漢語存現句的句法結構及其生成過程。研究發現，隱現句與存在句有不同的句法結構，前者的中介動詞短語是句子的主謂語，而後者以存在動詞為主謂語，中介動詞短語是附加語成分。漢語存在句中介動詞短語中的名詞短語通過側向移位複製並合併到存在動詞的內論元位置。中介動詞短語和存在動詞短語作為伴隨功能範疇 R的事件論元作其補足語。在加標和線性化兩個界面條件的驅動下，通過循環移位生成句法表達式。在音係部門中，通過語鏈形成、語鏈消減操作以及在其他音係要求下，刪除"不必要"的複製，生成匯聚的表層形式。附加語移位的方向有不同的選擇，從而形成不同語序的存在句式。在存在句的推導中，我們結合了側向移位理論、加標理論與動態反對稱理論。側向移位允准了從附加語中提取成分，解釋了附加語與主句之間的論元共享。加標理論、破解對稱驅動的移位為構建句法結構提供了機制，且更加符合缺少典型形態特征的漢語。通過語鏈形成與語鏈消減操作，成功地解釋了存在句表層形式的多樣性。此外，引入功能成分 R，在句法上投射了動作事件與存在事件的非致使性伴隨關係。本文對存現句的語言事實進行了深度描寫和跨句式的分析運用側向移位理論進行的新分析成功解釋了各種現象。本研究不但深化了對漢語存現句的認識，而且檢驗、拓展了最簡方案在漢語研究中的運用。特別是，結合漢語事實探討了論元以及動詞的側向移位機制，從而完善並發展了這一理論。本文實踐了"原則本位"的方法（徐杰2001），證明了它在語言研究中具有相當的理論穿透力有助於發現跨句式、跨結構乃至跨語言的聯繫和規律。

520 $a Existential construction is a classical topic in syntactic study and has significant theoretical value. There are many controversies about the syntactic structure and derivation of Chinese existentials, among which the syntactic nature of intermediate verbs is the focus of the debate. Using the framework of Generative Grammar, this thesis studies the syntactic structure of Chinese existentials and their derivation. The study found that the (dis)appearance constructions and the existential constructions have different syntactic structures. The intermediate VP of the former is the matrix predicate of the sentence, while the latter takes the existential verb phrase as the matrix predicate, and the intermediate VP as an adjunct.The NP in the intermediate verb phrase in Chinese existential constructions is copied and merged at the inner argument position of the existential verb through Sideward Movement. The intermediate VP and existential VP are event arguments of the functional category R and merged at its complement position. Driven by two interface conditions, i.e. Labeling and Linearization, syntactic configurations are generated by cyclic movement. In the phonology component, "unnecessary" copies are deleted through Chain Formation, Chain Reduction, and other phonological requirements, resulting in a converged surface form. There are different choices for the direction of movement of the adjunct, thus forming existential sentences with different word orders.In the derivation of existential constructions, we combine the Sideward Movement Theory, the Labeling Theory and the Dynamic Antisymmetry Theory. Sideward Movement allows extraction from an adjunct and explains the argument sharing between adjunct and matrix clause. Labeling and movement driven by antisymmetry provide a mechanism for the construction of syntactic configurations, and are more suitable for Chinese, which lacks typical morphological features. Through the operation of Chain Formation and Chain Reduction, the diversity of the surface forms of existential constructions is successfully explained. Furthermore, a functional category R is introduced to syntactically project the non-causal concomitant relationship between action events and existential events.This paper makes an in-depth description and cross-construction analysis of the linguistic facts of existentials. Various phenomena have been successfully explained by my new analyses using the Sideward Movement Theory. This research not only deepens the understanding of Chinese existential sentences, but also examines and expands the application of the Minimalist Program in Chinese studies. In particular, the mechanism of the sideward movement of arguments and verbs is investigated in the context of Chinese, which completes and develops the Sideward Movement Theory. The thesis implements the "principles-oriented framework" (Xu Jie, 2001), and proves that it has considerable theoretical penetrating power in language research, in helping to discover connections and laws across constructions, structures and languages.
