Thesis (M.F.A.)--Idaho State University, 2024.
Includes bibliographical references
We humans are an awkward species, often groping our way through interpersonal anguish and pervasive premonitions of personal and societal doom. Though this perceived awkwardness can be seen as charming and vulnerable, it can also be read as revealing a core of existential angst. Art, from the ancient to the modern, has sought to reveal and represent this clumsiness. My own studio practice seeks to do the same. Here, I'll awkwardly explore both my process and art.
