520 $a Using an Indigenous research paradigm in conjunction with decolonization theory I have examined the tenets of gentle action in contrast to traditional ways of teaching and learning in Native American culture with a focus on my tribe, the Chippewa-Cree.

Traditional healing and spiritual practices are described and gentle action is examined as a possible approach to strengthen current practices.
