The purpose of this study was to explore how educational institutions are developing global minded leaders to enhance globalization. The problem explored in the study was intentionally developing leaders in educational institutions in order to catch up with the demands of today's technological world so as to enhance stagnant globalization. Globalization is a phenomenon of transforming the world into a unit seeking feedback between civilizations and different cultures resulting in the promotion of a new international order that ensures sustainable development, peace, security, and stability which started back in the seventies but now it is a reality that is irreversible which needs improvement. Using the qualitative case study, the researcher sought to explore and analyze what is being done and what could be done in educational institutions to improve globalization by preparing global leaders. An extensive literature search and face-to-face semi-structured interviews with administrators and faculty from accredited colleges and universities in Oklahoma served as the basis of the study. The theoretical basis of the study covered transformational, technological, and intercultural theories. Surprisingly, several of participants said that they were involved with developing graduates who will be leaders in their work places locally but developing leaders who will go to impact other nations was not their focus. Studies should continue to be done to leverage the implementation of technology in education and jobs locally and internationally. Developing global leaders is more critical today than in the past because technology continues to advance globally. Educational institutes should prepare graduates with a global mindset in order to enhance globalization.
