In its 2016 advertising campaign, adidas employs images representing youth subcultures from the past and present, evoking the spirit of a youth subculture in the future. Thus, the campaign combines the concept of timelessness with a creative spirit, a trait considered to be an indispensable driving force behind authentic culture and art, which remains critical about the society in order to liberate human beings from the delusional present.
