Moritz Parwoll zeigt die Zusammenhänge zwischen Spendenmotiven und potenziellen Ursachen für eine Inaktivität bzw. Abwanderung auf und ermittelt die Einflussgrößen der Wiederaufnahme einer Spendenbeziehung aus Spendersicht. Daraus leitet der Autor erfolgversprechende Strategien zur Reaktivierung von passiven Spendern bzw. der Rückgewinnung von abgewanderten Spendern ab. Die Rückgewinnung abgewanderter Spender ist aus wissenschaftlicher Perspektive noch ein weitgehend unerforschtes Thema und für Non-Profit-Organisationen ein Aufgabengebiet mit großer ökonomischer Relevanz.
